Protocol is nearly done!

I am so thankful for you all. I have received many words of encouragement and reminders that we have so many praying with us and for us. God's glory is shining everywhere and especially in the coming together of Christian brothers and sisters. Thank you. I can't even express how thankful we all are.

God's grace is overwhelming in our life right now. Chad is just now finishing his last pheresis treatment and everything has progressed nicely. What's amazing is that he has been given the strength to finish the treatment, which has been previously impossible. Our boys have adapted well to life in the hotel during our extended stay--I would say they're probably doing better than we are. We are so thankful for that. Unexpectedly, it looks like Chad may be able to come back to the hotel and do some outpatient appointments to finish out the last days of the treatment protocol. We can't wait for him to be here, resting and relaxing.

We are expecting to be home for Christmas. My heart is looking forward to that sweet time that we can all spend together with family. (Thank you, Amazon for all you do! Can I get an amen?!) We do not know what the outcome of the treatment is right now. Chad feels better than he did when he went into the hospital and it all seems like a positive to me. God is wrapping His arms around us daily and reminding us that He cares for us. There is a peace in our hearts about all of it. I hesitate to look to far ahead right now, but continue to rest and trust our next steps are in His hands.

Meanwhile, we are living on Starbucks and jigsaw puzzles. Thank you all for continuing to pray and for joining us in this trial. Love y'all!
